Midfielder to travel to London as part of Crewe squad
Steve Davis says that his ‘new’ signing Bradden Inman is fit and raring to go after been given the green light to join Crewe Alexandra on a permanent basis from Newcastle United. Inman could now travel to London later today as part of the squad to face the current league leaders Leyton Orient on Saturday.
In their quest to sign Inman from the Premier League side, he has had his pre-season interrupted and will have to play catch-up in regards to his match fitness.
Steve explained to the club’s official web-site: “Brad is fit and raring to go but he is short of match fitness. He needs some game time and the proof will be in the pudding with that. When we get him back playing in matches then we will know a bit more.
“We will integrate him back in and the Under-21 games have started again, so that will also give us a chance to assess how he is. We will take him to London as part of the squad again and we’ll see if he is in our plans or not.”
