Boss Hints At Changes

Steve Davis says he might make one or two changes for MK Trip

Steve Davis has told the club’s official web-site that he may decide to ‘change one or two’ of his personnel for tomorrow’s trip to MK Dons. The manager will discuss the possibility of introducing some fresh faces after the opening two matches of the season has seen us score five but also concede six.

The Crewe Alexandra manager will take advice from his assistant Neil Baker, who took a strong looking side to New Mills for a reserve friendly on Wednesday night.

Steve told the club’s official web-site: “We face a good team in MK Dons this weekend and I will pick a team that I think can get us a positive result. I have thought about the line-up and have discussed our options.

“We will continue to discuss that during and after today’s final session. Perhaps we could look to change one or two or maybe we will stick with what we have played in the opening two games because if you take away the goals we have conceded from set plays, overall the performances have been decent.

He added: “I think we have been the better side in both games and we know what we have to improve on. We defended well last season and we have got to get back to doing that as a team.”
