After spending two-days in Southend, the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy team launched the Crewe section of the Trophy Tour with a trip to the club shop at Gresty Road, where manager Steve Davis and the entire squad were in attendance for a fun afternoon.

An appearance at Signal Radio followed the next day before another exciting afternoon at the Johnstone’s Decorating Centre where Steve Davis, his son and central defender Harry, goalkeeper Steve Phillips and captain Luke Murphy were all in attendance.

The Mayors of Crewe and Southend were also in attendance.

“We had a fantastic week on the road with the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy,” said Ben Wilde, Brand Sponsorship Manager for Johnstone’s Paint.

“The response from supporters at every event we attended was fantastic and it was clear that everybody was excited about the prospect of watching their team at Wembley.

“We would also like to thank the players, management and officials at Crewe and Southend for their efforts in helping making the Trophy Tours such memorable occasions.”
