Captain back to lead the Alex out for last game of the season
Luke Murphy will captain the club's home grown starting XI against Walsall. The Alsager-based midfielder has been struggling sincebut Murphy has been struggling to regain his fitness since, missing the last four matches,aggravating his groin before the club's trip to Wembley for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Murphy got through the final, opening the scoring in a 2-0 win, but failed to complete the club's next game against Brentford.he has been able to resume training this week and will feature against the Saddlers tomorrow.
Crewe are without leading scorer Mathias Pogba (thigh) and Gregor Robertson (Achilles). Goalkeeper Ben Garratt will make his debut for the club, with centre-half George Ray also set to start for a young Crewe side.
