Toots Looks Forward To Dons

27 September 2012

Matt Tootle says Alex will go to Stadium MK and play with no fear

Matt Tootle says the Crewe Alexandra dressing room is looking forward to Saturday’s tough assignment at MK Dons. The Alex go into the game on an unbeaten run of five matches but have drawn their last four matches. Tootle says three away points would represent a really good return of points from a tough opening couple of months to the season.

Tootle, who scored his first goal for almost three years on Saturday against Leyton Orient told crewealex.net: “Games such as the MK Dons away is the type of game you look forward to. That is why we are in this league and it should be a great occasion.

“I’m sure we will be taking few fans down there because it has been a while since we visited their new stadium and we have to go there and show no fear.

“We have been on a decent run of late and if we had finished off a few more of our chances then we would have been right up there.

Matt added: “An away win at the MK Dons would make it a really good run. It would make some of those points we have had such as at Stevenage look like a really good point. We have got to try and keep our little run going and show what we can do.”
