Davis says Arsenal youngster settling in well
Steve Davis says there will be more to come from Chuks Aneke as the Arsenal teenager settles in life in South Cheshire. Aneke marked his Alex debut in the 0-0 draw with Tranmere, replacing the injured Harry Bunn. Aneke certainly demonstrated his power in possession and in the words of the boss gave us ‘one or two moments’.
Davis commented on the England youth International: “Chuks only really got to know the lads on Friday and I didn’t think it was fair to throw him at the deep end straight away.
“I wanted to introduced him later on in the game and I think he showed the fans that power in possession. He gave us one or two moments in the game and comes alive when he is on the ball.
The manager added: “He will be able to have a week training with us and will only get better and improve as time goes on. I’m sure we will see a lot more from him.”
