Harry Davis says Crewe can play with no fear as underdogs at MK Dons
Harry Davis says Crewe Alexandra will travel to MK Dons very much as underdogs, but stresses that the Railwaymen could spring a surprise against on the favourites for promotion this season. Davis is currently partnering Mark Ellis at centre-half and has helped the club concede just three in the last five matches.
After gaining a point at both Stevenage and Carlisle in recent weeks, Davis says that the Alex can go and play with no fear.
“It is going to be tough playing at the MK Dons because they are very good side. They reached the playoffs last year and are among the favourites to go up again this time.
“We have the underdog tag so there is no pressure on us. We can go all out for three points; it can work in our favour all season. That could be the case again on Saturday.
Harry added: “I imagine they have had a big budget and we know they have some good players, so we need to rise to the occasion. We need to start winning some games instead of drawing them and three points would be a massive confidence points. “
