Abdul Osman suffers a reoccurence of his ankle injury
Crewe Alexandra’s medical staff are hoping that a reoccurrence of Abdul Osman’s ankle injury sustained in last night’s 2-1 win over Swindon Town is not too serious. The combative midfielder failed to re-appear for the second half after picking up the injury, with youngster Ollie Turton replacing him.
Osman is rated as a major doubt for this weekend’s home encounter with Yeovil Town and the club will be hoping that the on-loan Andy Bond will be able to shake off a groin strain to make himself available for this weekend’s home encounter with the Glovers.
