Midfielder could make FA Cup tie against Wycombe
"AJ is making progress. He has been working on the bike and doing some cardio that way, but he hasn't been able to run on it yet. He is getting there but it will still be a few weeks with him."Manager Steve Davis told the club's official web-site: "Abdul got another kick on his ankle against Swindon and it forced him off. We are hopeful that he will be okay for this weekend. He has made strides and could be back in contention.
Meanwhile, AJ Leitch-Smith has made progress from his own ankle injury, but is still a few weeks away from a return to action. Leitch-Smith was forced off in the first half during our 2-0 away defeat at Portsmouth.
The robust midfielder Abdul Osman has a chance of making this weekend's FA Cup 1st round tie against Wycombe Wanderers. Osman missed the weekend's home encounter with Yeovil after being forced off at half-time during our 2-1 win over Swindon Town with a re-occurence of an ankle injury. Young Ollie Turton deputised for the experienced midfielder in both fixtures.
