I'll Stay As Long As I can

Loanee happy to stay and help the Alex

Crewe Alexandra loanee Chuks Aneke has hinted that he would not be against a longer-term stay at the Alexandra Stadium, after netting his first goal for the club in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Hartlepool United.

The Arsenal man has had a stop start time so far here in South Cheshire, after a red-card at Stevenage in only his second game for the club, but Aneke is now out to continue to impress over the coming weeks after a man-of-the-match display in the Hartlepool win.

Last week Chuks extended his loan spell with the Alex for another month, and Chuks says he is happy to stay as long as he is wanted.

Chuks told crewealex.net: “I am delighted the club have extended my loan I really want to stay as long as I can as long as I am playing and I happy to play for Crewe. If the gaffer wants me longer term, I don’t see why not. Hopefully the goals keep coming.”
