Arsenal agree to another month loan for midfield starlet

Crewe Alexandra and Arsenal have agreed to extend Chuks Aneke‘s loan deal for another month. Aneke returns from a three-match suspension for tomorrow and it has already been agreed between the two clubs to extend his stay at Gresty Road.

Aneke has a point to prove after seeing red against Stevenage for a reckless challenge on Anthony Grant and is sure to be involved against Oldham Athletic tomorrow night.

Steve told crewealex.net: “We have agreed with Arsenal to extend his loan. I think Chucks is content here and he wants to play as much as possible.

“He is available again to us and he might even start yet depending on who we have available.

Steve added: “He is eager to make up for what happened at Stevenage. He wants to make up for the red card and show the Crewe fans what he is capable of.”
