Colclough Signs Pro Deal

Club delighted after winger signs three-year professional contract

The Potteries-based Colclough has been rewarded with his first professional contract and he is hoping to resume light training in the next two weeks after a positive scan yesterday.

Colclough, 17, managed to continue to complete the match but the extent of the damage was revealed after the scan, thus ruling him out until Christmas.

His early season form saw him promoted to train with the first-team squad and mark his debut in the 1-1 draw with Leyton Orient in September. His cameo appearance in that game then saw him replace Max Clayton in the second half at MK Dons, but he unfortunately suffered a fractured jaw following a robust challenge from Darren Potter.

Crewe Alexandra are pleased to announce that young winger Ryan Colclough has signed a three-year professional contract with the club. Colclough has progressed through the Academy ranks at the club and has established himself as a key member of Crewe's Under-18s and Under-21s.
