Moore's team-mate Harry Davis predicts more great things from match winning winger
Alex defender Harry Davis is hoping that Bryon Moore’s match winning brace against Swindon Town on Tuesday night will be the catalyst for the talented winger to add even more goals. Moore, and the Alex faithful have to surprisingly wait for Moore’s first goals of the new season after he ended last season on such a high with that decisive goal at Wembley in the Play-Off Final. Moore has certainly threatened the goal on occasions and has produced a consistent number of assists, but Harry Davis is convinced that his fantastic finishes against Swindon, especially the brilliantly taken winner will only boost his confidence further.
Harry told Crewe Alex Player: “
I am really pleased for Bryon to get off the mark for the season. He took his goals really well on Tuesday night.
“Bryon has got all the ability to be a real top player and I am delighted that he could get his first goals of the season and help us win the game against Swindon. He showed his class especially with that second goal.
On such real resilient defending, H added: “In the second half we couldn’t get back to the same level we reached in the first-half, but sometimes you have to dig in and get results – that is exactly what we did.
“A lot of the defending was instinctive stuff and you didn’t really have chance to think about what you were doing. I am really pleased with the way we all defended, but I am a little disappointed we couldn’t get a clean sheet.”
