Tootle says Chuks and Lauri have settle in to become game-changers
Alex defender Matt Tootle has praised the impact that loan players Chuks Aneke and Lauri Dalla Valle have made to the Crewe Alexandra squad since arriving from Premier League clubs. Aneke has scored three important goals and made a number of assists as Crewe have been able to move up the league table. Dalla Valle, formerly of Liverpool had made an instant impact, scoring two in his last two outings for the club.
Tootle has been suitably impressed by the two youngsters and expects even more to come from them.
Matt, who was man-of-the-match against Colchester told Crewe Alex Player: “The two lads are really good lads and have settled in well at the club. When Chuks first came in from Arsenal, at the first day of training he was on another level and all the boys were saying what must Arsenal’s training be like!
“It is good news that he is staying with us for another month. I know he had some stick against Yeovil but he is a real player. I think he has settled into it and has won most of the supporters over. He has played something like ten games, scored three and set up another five, so you cannot ask for more than that.
“He can play in midfield or in behind the front man and he is very good at finding space, producing those turns and then playing a forward pass. He is a really good player.
Toots added: “Lauri has come in and done really well. He is a goal poacher and works hard up there. He has scored two and two and his finishing is always very good in training. We have had some loan players come in and score a couple of goals and then fade away a bit, but I am sure with Lauri he has the ability to sustain his performances.”
