Clayton and Osman back in contention for FA CUp tie

Their imminent return will be a boost to boss Steve Davis, who felt his options to change things from the substitutes were limited against Yeovil Town last weekend. His only real option in attack was to introduce the inexperienced Brandon Daniels for Michael West.

Meanwhile, Crewe are still without AJ Leitch-Smith (ankle ligaments) and Ryan Colclough (fractured jaw). Colclough has undergone his latest scan and has been given the go-ahead to resume contact training again in the next two weeks.
