Alex boss to assess Murphy, Osman and West ahead of Doncaster trip
Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis says he will check on three of his players before deciding on his starting XI for tomorrow night’s tough encounter at Doncaster Rovers. Captain Luke Murphy needed treatment after being caught twice by Wycombe’s Matty Spring and his fellow midfielder Abdul Osman was withdrawn as a precaution after only recently returning from an ankle injury in the club’s FA Cup win. Ollie Turton replaced him.
Winger Michael West was also replaced for Brendon Daniels after suffering with a tight calf muscle but he is expected to train today.
Crewe are without AJ Leitch-Smith (ankle), Ryan Colclough (jaw) and Max Clayton (groin).
