Steve told the club’s official web-site:  “It was our objective at the start of the season to have a good run and we have taken all the competitions seriously. I always try and pick a team to win the game and these two games will be no different.

“The target in the FA Cup was to get past that first round, first and foremost, because we have failed at that stage over the last few years. Now it is our aim to get beyond the second round and make sure we are in the draw. We want to make the third round draw exciting for ourselves and the supporters.

“We want to get through and go as far as we can and it is the same with the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy. We want to try and get through to Wembley and have another day out and we are a few games away from doing that now, but we know Doncaster will be tough.”
