Fulham forward in South Cheshire with a view to a loan move
Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis has this morning revealed that Fulham Forward Lauri Dalla Valle is training at Reaseheath with the view to a potential loan move.
Dalla Valle is a 21-year-old Finnish forward and had a spell at Internazionale as a youngster before a move to Liverpool. He then moved to Fulham in 2010 and has been a regular at reserve and U21 level since.
Crewe assistant manager Neil Baker watched Dalla Valle in a U21 game with Wolves earlier in the week, and the striker, who has represented Finland at youth level arrived in South Cheshire yesterday.
Davis is hopeful that the Fulham man could be what he is looking for: “We have got a lad in from Fulham. He is a Finnish U21 international who had loan spells with the likes of Bournemouth and Exeter last year.
“He is a pacey forward who is very lively. Fulham have allowed him to come and train with us for a few days. He will be play for us in a U21 game next week and we have got the opportunity to do something if he impresses.”
