Crewe Alexandra Under 18's made it back-to-back victories with a 3-1 success at Burnley.

Fresh from overcoming Barnsley 2-1, Lee Bell's side thoroughly deserved their win in Lancashire, with Alex Hurst, Regan Griffiths & Challis Johnson on the score-sheet.

Crewe took the lead on the half hour, Luke Walsh slipping in Hurst who raced away from his man to fire in at the near post.

One became two six minutes shy of the break when Griffiths dispatched from the penalty spot after Joe Lynch was fouled following a clever move in from the right.

The hosts halved the deficit moments before half-time when the striker reacted quickest to stab a loose ball over the line when his team mate's effort had hit the post.

The second half was a tight affair, but Challis Johnson broke away on a speedy counter a minute from time to kill the game off and secure a confidence boosting win.
