Crewe Alexandra's new loan signing James Tunnicliffe is looking forward to playing some games after arriving on loan from Wycombe Wanderers earlier today.
The 6"4" centre-half is set to be thrown in at the deep end for the Alex and could make his debut in Saturday's derby game with Port Vale, and when speaking to Crewe Alex Player, admitted that he jumped at the chance to move to Crewe.
Tunnicliffe, who had started the season in the Wycombe side, is hopeful that his physical prowess as well as his technical ability will be something that can benefit the Railwaymen.
Crewe's new signing told Player: "I'm obviously a tall lad who is good in the air, but I'd like to think I am also good on the ball as well. I played in a very good footballing side at Stockport a few years ago, and after training with the lads this morning I'd like to think I can fit in well here too.

"I started the season in the Wycombe side, but hit a bit of bad form as a team and individually, and then I found myself out of the team. So when the opportunity came to move to a club like this with its facilities and the staff that work here I jumped at it.
"I'm a really looking forward to just getting playing and I have a massive game to come into. Hopefully the weather will stay away and we can go to Vale and pick up three points for the fans."
