Joined the club as a 14-year and after impressing with the club's Youth Team during the 2008/2009 season was promoted to the first-team over the Christmas period.
He marked his first team debut away to Hartlepool in December 2008 just before his 18th birthday and followed that up with a wonderfully struck free-kick against Millwall in the FA Cup.
Further involvement was hindered when he picked up an injury, and then fell out of favour, but looks to push on for the new campaign and become a first regular.
