The former Academy graduate has forced his way in Steve Holland's starting X1 after an impressive pre-season.
The Macclesfield-born younger originally signed professional forms in the summer of 2007 and made his debut as a late substitute in a 4-0 defeat to Doncaster Rovers in December. Bailey's mature displays against the likes of Wrexham, Hull City and Preston saw him start the new season in the centre of the Crewe midfield alongside Michael O'Connor. Bailey made his full debut last weekend against Brighton and will be looking to make as many appearances as he can this season.
