A graduate of Birmingham City's Academy, 6ft 4 goalkeeper Adam signed for the Alex in June 2008 becoming then boss, Steve Holland's first signing of the summer.
Adam never got round to making a senior debuts for the Blues, only making it as far as the bench. It was during loan spells that he gained his first professional experience, completing 5 successful spells at the likes of Oldham Athletic and Halifax Town. He did play his part in the Birmingham reserves, and it was during his time with Halifax that he was spotted by the Alex and brought in at the first available opportunity. Injury hindered his first year at the Alex when during a reserve game he injured his shoulder. After a successful operation, and seven months on the sidelines, Adam was declared fit and joined Weymouth on loan. He now looks to impress and claim a place as the club's number one.
