Peter Taylor, the Bradford Manager, is preparing for a promotion campaign next season after extending his team's unbeaten run to six games.

Things look less rosey for Dario Gradi, the Crewe Manager. He said: "If this is a sign of things to come next season, there is a lot of hard work to do again."

- The Times

Crewe brought the curtain down on a dismal campaign as they succumbed to their 12th home defeat.

It meant they stayed stuck in 18th place in League Two - their worst ever finish in the Football League under Dario Gradi. Both sides were denied by the woodwork in a low-key affair before substitute Ryan Kendall decisively fired Bradford ahead midway through the second-half.
