Posted on: Mon 19 Apr 2010

Kevin Dillon, the Aldershot Manager, has set a target of four points from their last three games to earn a place in the play offs. "Who would have thought that Aldershot would be in that position?" he said after Ben Harding equalised in response to Clayton Donaldson's first minute effort.

The draw guaranteed Crewe's survival, but Dario Gradi said "we didn't play well."

Shots fell behind to Clayton Donaldson's first minute goal but Ben Harding levelled direct from a corner on 41 minutes to move them up to sixth.

Crewe wasted good second-half chances to seal a win at promotion-chasing Aldershot before settling for a point.

Clayton Donaldson got the Alex off to a super start with a goal in the first-minute. But they were hit by the loss of centre halves Mat Mitchel-King and Harry Worley. And there was an air of vulnerability at the back when Shots midfielder curled an equaliser straight in from a corner just before the interval.
