What The Papers Said..

Posted on: Mon 01 Mar 2010

Dario Gradi may be an unlikely betting man, but he has staked some of his reputation on getting homegrown striker Shaun Miller to deliver a regular supply of goals.

He could be cracking that problem as Miller's late equaliser saved the day at Sincil Bank. Gradi is now offering James Bailey a novel cash prize in the hope he becomes a goal-scoring midfielder. With greater accuracy, Bailey, who has yet to score for Crewe, might have been toasting a hat-trick as his side created an abundance of chances.
