Midfielder Lee Bell will make his return to action this afternoon, as the Alex's Reserves travel to Burnley for a friendly.
The 23-year-old has missed the whole season so far having suffered a broken foot in a pre-season friendly against Southport, but returned to training over the past couple of weeks ahead of his return this afternoon.
Bell will line up in midfield alongside Ben Rix as the Alex tackle Burnley's second string, who are likely to include former Alex man Stephen Foster in their side.
Neil Bakers team has a youthful look about it, with six first year professionals included, one of which is central defender Adam Dugdale, another to return from injury.
Dugdale missed pre-season with a foot injury and has had one or two other niggles which have kept him out, but is now hoping to earn himself a regular spot in the reserves.
