Crewe Alex youngster Matt Bailey has moved to Conference outfit Hereford United on a one month loan.
The giant 19-year-old centre forward, who has recently recovered from a slight injury, will head to Edgar Street this afternoon and spend the day training with Graham Turner's side with a view to making his debut in the Bulls' trip to struggling Aldershot Town on Tuesday evening.
Bailey, who joined the Alex in the summer on a one year deal from Northwich Victoria, hasn't featured for Dario Gradi's side so far this season but has made big strides in training.
He began his career with local side Nantwich Town before winning a professional contract with Stockport County in 2002. He made a handful of appearances for the Hatters, and also featured on loan with Scunthorpe United and Altrincham, before leaving Edgeley Park in March and joining the Vics.
After scoring a brace for the Alex's Under-18's as a trialist towards the end of last season, Bailey signed a one-year deal in the summer at Gresty Road.
He will link up with the vastly experienced former Wolves manager Turner at Edgar Street, as the Bulls look to go better than last seasons play-offs and secure a place back in the Football League for the first time since their relegation nine seasons ago.
Bailey should be involved against the Shots on Tuesday and as Hereford look for three points to shoot them into the play-offs.
