Crewe Alexandra youngsters Kelvin Mellor and Harry Davis are still enjoying a loan spell at Stafford Rangers and played two games in just three days this bank holiday weekend.

Saturday they played Worcester in a 1-1 draw at home in which both boys featured for the full 90 minutes. They couldn't follow it up yesterday tho with another result as they fell to Alfreton Town in a 2-0 defeat. Alfreton are unbeaten so far having got their sixth win in six games. A last minute penalty sealed Alfreton's win and gave Stafford their first defeat since the opening day of the season.

The boys next play this weekend at Droylsden.
