Zola Fit To Travel

Posted on: Fri 27 Aug 2010

Calvin Zola has overcome his slight knee injury to put himself back in contention for tomorrow's npower League Two clash at Lincoln. Zola missed last weekend's 7-0 win over Barnet and then Tuesday's spirited performance against Ipswich in the Carling Cup after twisting his knee in training.

The Congolese striker is now back training and is fit enough to be considered for tomorrow's trip to Sincil Bank. If Dario Gradi is prepared to start with the target man following a 7-0 win remains to be seen.

Crewe will be without Matt Tootle (hamstring), goalkeeper Steve Phillips (shoulder) and Carl Martin (shin).
