Crewe Alexandra have two youngsters out on loan the moment at Stafford Rangers and it has been a busy start to the new season for them. They have so far played four league games, and last night picked up their second victory of the campaign.

Kelvin Mellor and Harry Davis both travelled to Ilkeston Town with Rangers, and not only helped to a 2-0 win but also played their part in the clean sheet. A goal in each half for Rangers sealed the win. They have now climbed to 8th in the table and prepare for another game quickly as the play two fixtures in just three days this bank holiday weekend, starting with Worcester at home on Saturday.
