Clayton Donaldson believes that Ipswich Town's style will suit Crewe Alexandra's passing game this evening. Donaldson netted twice against Barnet on Saturday, and says that the dressing room in buzzing in anticipation of the Tractor Boys rolling into South Cheshire this evening.
The Don remains convinced that the Alex can cause another cup upset against Championship opposition and progress into round three when the really big boys join in!
Donaldson told the club's official web-site: "A game like this one definitely creates interest for the players and for the supporters. We want them there and behind us like they were when Derby came. They helped us that night and we need them to be up for it again.
"You look down the years, and even just the other week when we played Derby, and you will see what Crewe can perform like against teams from a higher league. We always seem to play well against those teams higher than us.
"We like to play football like the Championship sides, so it's definitely a tasty fixture for us."
On the Ipswich boss Roy Keane, Donaldson cannot wait to meet one of his football idols and shake his hand after helping Crewe progress into round three of the competition!
"Roy Keane is obviously coming here and with the background he has it just speaks for itself really, ' says Clays.
"It's a really good fixture for us, and we're all looking forward to it. I hope that after the game I can shake Roy Keane's hand and be saying unlucky to him because that would mean we've won!
He added: "He is a legend in the game though, and I look up to him, so I think I'll be shaking his hand no matter what."
