After treatment from the Alex physios this morning, we can now confirm that the locally born 21-year-old is facing weeks on the sidelines with ligament damage in his ankle.

The injury does not appear to be too substantial, and rather than a long lay off, Byron is expected to be back in action in a matter of weeks, with the phyio's aiming to have him back before the end of the season.
