Former captain Billy Jones will be allowed to leave on loan after failing to cement a move away from Crewe Alexandra during the January transfer window. Jones has not been able to hold down a regular place in the first-team since Dario Gradi succeeded Gudjon Thordarson as manager back in October.
Jones lost his place in the side after being red carded in Thordarson's final game against Bury with youngster Ashley Westwood and then Matt Tootle taking his place at full-back.
Jones, who joined the club from Exeter City in 2007, is out of contract at the club in the summer and will be allowed to leave on a free transfer.
Fellow defender Patrick Ada will also be allowed to leave on loan in order for the former Histon defender to gain some first-team action elsewhere.
Dario has revealed that he has not received any offer for both players, he told crewealex.net: "Both Billy and Patrick are available for loan action, now that the 7-day period has passed. There has been no enquires about them, so we'll have to see what happens."
