Gudjon Thordarson has said he has made his mind up over the club's new captain and all will be revealed for our first friendly game of the season at Newcastle Town. Gudjon has held talks with a couple of his players about the vacant position following Julien Baudet's summer departure to the MLS.

Gudjon told the club's official web-site: "I have already assessed the situation with the captaincy and I have sorted it. I have spoken to a couple of players and I have made a decision.

"All will be made clear at Newcastle on Sunday. I want a leader who is going to have an influence over the dressing room. He will lead by example and help the others. I have always thought that is vital and I have faith in the player I have chosen to do this."
