Substitutes To Increase To Seven

The Football League have confirmed from the chairman's conference in Portugal that clubs will be allowed to name seven substitutes for Coca-Cola Football League matches of which three can be permitted to enter the field of play.

The proposal was put forward first by Derby County and accepted by members at the annual conference.
