Steve Holland has stated this week that movement has been made on bringing in a centre-back on loan but at this stage there are no further developments that have been made.

The club is not expecting to have a new centre-half in for the trip to Bristol Rovers, but Steve has admitted that he has spoken to a Manager who has agreed in principal that the player can join the Alex for a loan spell.

Steve says: "We are not expecting the player to be here for tomorrow's game, but possibly at the start of next week we will have a few more developments. I have spoken to a Manager who has agreed in principal that we can take the player on loan, but there still a few more things that need to be addressed, hopefully we'll move a step further soon.

"I have not yet spoken to the player, but he is a centre back."
