Dario Gradi told the club's official web-site that he would have certainly had settled for a point at half-time with his team trailing but admits that we didn't let our extra-man or numerous free-kicks count in the second half.
After the 1-1 draw, Dario told the club's official web-site:"It was a decent point because we were a goal down at half-time and hadn't played particularly well. I would have settled for a point at the break but we didn't make the most of the amount of free-kicks we had this afternoon. I think we had a million of them and the ones in and around their box were poor.
"On the basis we didn't deserve too much more than we got. Saying that we scored a super goal. Westy took it well and I think he learnt from the one he had in the first half.
"We had some chances especially with the one with Calvin where he couldn't quite sort his feet out and I thought if he wasn't going to score from there, then we would give someone else a chance.
"I bought Nick on because I thought his pace and height may make a difference. I looked at the subs and thought who is going to get us a goal? I thought it was between AJ and Nick and went with Nick because he is quicker.
"He wasn't fazed by it and got up when they kept bringing him down. He is a confident lad and had a terrific day in training on Thursday. He has been holding his own with the first team but on Thursday he looked an outstanding player.
Dario added: "I didn't know how he would handle it but I thought he was a real threat and dangerous when he came on."
