Steve Holland was certainly frustrated with the goals we ended up conceding against Preston North End in our final warm up game of the summer, but the first team coach says his players can be relatively satisfied with the overall performance against our Coca-Cola Championship opponents.

After a good work out, Steve told the club's official web-site: "I'm relatively pleased with the performance to mid way into the second half because we hadn't looked in a great deal of trouble. We also looked like we might have scored a goal. Calvin (Zola) produced a couple of saves from the goalkeeper, one with a header, and we actually managed to get the ball in the net from a set play again, which was offside.

"Shaun (Miller) got in a couple of times as well and had a header go just over the bar and hit the back post and even Anthony (Elding) had a chance after the penalty with the goalkeeper to beat.

"There are enough signs that we are getting in the positions to score the goals without actually quite managing to produce that bit of ability.

"Their penalty? We are capable of that. We weren't quite right defensively for that, and as we tried to recover the error, the challenge was made that gave the penalty.  Quite rightly so, too. So we need to have a look at that."

"I was disappointed as well with the second goal. It was a soft goal to concede, right at the end, from the corner when somebody didn't do their job properly so again, I'll have to have a look at that."
