Crewe Alexandra will begin our FA Youth Cup campaign with a trip to Oldham Athletic.
Steve Holland's side will travel to Boundary Park in the First Round of the competition after the draw was made at the FA's headquarters in Soho Square this afternoon.
The alex suffered agony in the Youth Cup last season when a goal in the final minute of Extra Time saw them lose 1-0 at Bolton Wanderers in the Third Round, but the club has much happier memories of the competition in 2004, when the Under-18's reached the Semi Finals, eventually losing over two legs to Middlesbrough.
No date has yet been set for the game, but ties must be completed by Saturday 11 November
