Crewe Alexandra's Under-18's moved to third in the table with victory over Liverpool at the Reds' Academy on Saturday.
Steve Holland's young side pounced in the second half to secure their third consecutive victory in the FA Premier Academy League, and climb above the likes of Manchester United in the table.
Holland made a couple of changes to the side which had beaten Blackburn Rovers at Reaseheath last weekend, with Nick Farquharson returning to the starting line-up in place of Shaun Miller, and Adam Dugdale playing his first game of the season in central defence in place of Tom Lappin.
But it was Dugdale's central defensive partner Russell Courtney (pictured, above) who but the Railwaymen in front early in the game as he got up from the back to net his first of the season.
