Second Year Scholar Gareth Evans is set to join Leigh RMI on work experience.
The 18-year-old midfielder or forward will link up with the Conference North side this week as he looks to gain some first team experience, having so far represented the Alex's Academy since signing scholarship forms in the summer of 2005.

Carrington - Enjoyed RMI stint

Evans, who was previously on the books of Manchester United as a schoolboy, represented the Alex at Under-18 level last season, playing in both the FA Premier Academy League and the FA Youth Cup for Steve Holland's side.
However, it has been decided that the Macclesfield based youngster will benefit from some open-age football in the same way that fellow midfielder Mark Carrington (pictured - right) did in his spell with Leigh last season.
Carrington produced some impressive displays for the non-leaguers and impressed sufficiently to win a professional deal in the summer.
Evans should now be available to play for Leigh in their trip to Moor Green in the Nationwide Conference North on Saturday.
Gareth becomes the fifth Alex player currently out on loan in non-league football joining Tom Pope (Barrow), Ritchie Sutton (Stafford Rangers), Mark Roberts (Halifax Town) and Adam Warlow (Witton Albion).
