
Crewe Alexandra's Under-14's have begun their Northern Ireland Milk Cup campaign in style.
The youngsters, who answered the torunament's call to travel to Northern Ireland as a late replacement for the Bahrain National side, opened their Junior Section campaign in style with a 4-0 thrashing of County Fermanagh.
In the opening game of the competition at Limavady on Monday afternoon, the Railwaymen cruised to victory with an excellent performance against the locally based outfit.
Steve Holland's young side led 2-0 at the interval thanks to goals from Alex Titchener and Ben Marshall, and after the turnaround both players added another goal each to bag themselves braces and see the Alex make the perfect start by winning 4-0.
On Tuesday afternoon the Alex take on Irish side Dundalk SL in Coleraine knowing a victory will definitely put them through to the main Milk Cup Quarter Final draw, although a draw may also be sufficient.
