The search for the former Liverpool and Halifax Town players successor and the decision has been made to promote from within by appointing Part-time Academy Coach Paul Bennett to the full time role of Assistant Academy Director, whilst converting Paul Johnson's Academy Recruitment Officer position to incorporate the role as Head of Academy Administration.
"We have appointed from within and also slightly changed the roles" Dario told Crewe Alex World
"Paul Johnson, who is our Academy Recruitment Officer, is now also the Administrative Manager of the Academy and will now take some of the work off Steve Holland.
"Paul Bennett, who is one of our part-time coaches, will now come in full-time and also take responsibility for the 6-10 year olds, taking some of the work from Paul Johnson.
"So we have replaced Terry and perhaps improved three roles as a result. That doesn't mean we won't miss Terry, because he has been super and has been here a long time and was good at his job.

"But whilst we are sorry to see him go it's the usual story where we try and use change to improve things, and hopefully that's what we have done."
Johnson has been in charge of the Academy Recruitment over the past few seasons scouring the best young talent from across the North West to ensure the club continues to produce a steady stream of talent through the youth set up.
He will now take on board some of the many Administrative duties associated with the Academy set up.
Bennett meanwhile has been coaching on a part-time basis with all the junior age groups for the past 7 years.
Originally a professional footballer with Port Vale, for whom he made 50 first-team appearances, the Liverpudlian also enjoyed a successful non-league career with Telford United, Stalybridge Celtic and Northwich Victoria, for whom he played twice at Wembley in the FA Trophy.
He began coaching at the age of 30 with Tranmere Rovers and also has coaching experience with a range of clubs including Northwich, Caernarvon Town and TNS.
