"Showed Signs of Their Quality"

Last night saw Crewe Alexandra's three under 18 starlets play their first Under 17's England game in their latest international tournament. The game ending 2-2.

Both of their academy managers Neil Critchely and James Collins travelled up to Lincoln to watch the boys and have returned with a positive view and very proud of how they equipped themselves ofr their country.

Neil told crewealex.net: "The boys both did well and equipped themselves well, I thought they both did better in the second half when the team did better, but it was a pleasure to be watching them play for their country.

"They had real moments of quality and showed glimpses of class and real ability. They should both be pleased with how they did."

Nick Powell, Max Clayton and Ben Garratt now prepare for their second game of the tournament tomorrow night against Australia.
