Posted on: Tue 03 Nov 2009

Crewe Alexandra's youngster travel to Leeds United this evening for the first round of the FA Youth Cup and hope to put a run together that will see them progress in the competition.

Neil Critchley and James Collins both take charge for the game this evening and Critch admits that everyone is looking forward to the game but it is going to be challenge.

He says: "If we're going to draw anyone away for the first round it may as well be Leeds, it's a great club and a great ground. It brings back a few memories for me too.

"It doesn't get much more difficult for a first round game, but it will be a great experience for the boys to go there and show what we are made of. We are all looking forward to it, and I'm sure it will be a good game of football."

You can get reaction from the game from Neil Critchley on Crewe Alex Player tomorrow afternoon and get the full match report here on crewealex.net later this evening.
