Last weekend saw the under 18's as they are play their last game of the season, and with decision time now arising it was a big game for everyone as they welcomed their counterparts from premiership side Sunderland.
It didn't start too well, in fact by half time the home side were 4-1 down in what turned out to be a very two-sided game.
The opening half an hour saw the side down by 3 goals but Junior Brown brought boys back into the game when he poked the ball through the goalkeepers legs after Dexter Ravenhill gave the ball a flick on from a free kick.
As they entered the second half of the game the team came out a lot stronger, only individual mistakes marking the game, the team did not defend well enough as a team.
Chris Clements converted a penalty after he was brought down in the box to bring the score line to 4-2 and Crewe back into the game. Under 16 Ben Marshall scored his second goal in three games heading in Clements free kick at the back post, substitute Josh Thompson brought the scores back level with just 10 minutes to go as he tapped in a rebound after the in-form Clements had hit the post to complete a fantastic turn around.
