Striker seals six month loan with view to permanent deal

Former Crewe Alexandra loan striker Uche Ikpeazu has signed on loan for Doncaster Rovers until the end of the season, with a view to a permanent deal.

The 19-year-old linked up with the Alex last season & his goals and physical presence played a major part in helping to keep the team in League One, including providing a vital assist for Mathias Pogba's clinching goal on the final day victory over Preston.

After an injury-ravaged start to 2014/15, Uche came back to the Alex in November on an emergency two-month loan and contributed two goals in eight games, including a goal against Doncaster in the 1-1 draw at Gresty Road in his first game back.
