Atkinson, Speed & LDV on target as U21's held by Tykes

Crewe Alexandra Under 21's drew 3-3 at Reaseheath after Chris Atkinson, Chris Speed and Lauri Dalla Valle struck in the six goal thriller.

James Collins' side created a number of chances throughout, but had to rely on LDV's late goal to grab a point from the clash.

The Alex took the lead on 12 minutes, Atkinson fortuitously scoring as George Cooper's shot deflected off him and into the net.

The visitors found themselves ahead by the half hour mark, scoring a quick-fire double to leave the Alex with it all to do.

Chris Speed drew level midway through the second half, before the Tykes looked to have won it late on before Dalla Valle pounced even later to seal a share of the spoils.
