Young midfielders offered new contracts

Youngsters’ Ollie Turton and Liam Nolan will be offered new deals as Steve Davis continues to shape his squad for next season. The Alex boss has already made offers to fellow Academy graduate Ben Garratt and full-back Jon Guthrie.

Steve Davis told crewealex.net: “Our young players are heading in the right direction and improving all the time.

“We give our young players that opportunity to come through and keep on improving and I’m sure there is more to come from them.

“All I would say to those young players, is to get their futures sorted out as quickly as possible and accept the terms.”
